Performs at the maximum, so you keep some leeway
Camera and/or video gear can be incredibly heavy, making load relief, ergonomics, and comfort absolutely essential.
That is why the Element trekkpack features the new CarryLite Ergo Max carrying system, which introduces groundbreaking new functions: the ergonomic, integrated aluminum frame effectively reduces the load on your back. The back length is adjustable, ensuring an ideal fit for your spine.
The CarryLite Ergo Max also incorporates the new technologies and materials found in the CarryLite Ergo V2, such as a detachable ShiftPro hip belt, modern memory foam padding, and supple, breathable 3D Air Mesh.
The CarryLite Ergo Max works for you while you pursue your next adventure.

Full-grown comfort for full-grown plans
Given the vast amount of gear the trekkpack 75L can carry, the load-relieving benefits of the CarryLite ergo Max system become a decisive advantage.
The Element trekkpack 75L can be fitted with various IGU units. The Trekk 75 XL IGU focuses on maximizing storage space for large telephoto lenses, camera bodies, drones, and the like.
With the more compact Trekk 75 L IGU, you can still carry plenty of gear while leaving significantly more room in the backpack for your other travel or trekking luggage.
Since keeping camera gear organized and tidy is often easier than managing general luggage and spare clothing, the Trekk Sacc 15L is available to keep things orderly—preventing, among other mishaps, the loss of socks while on the move. You can also use it to compress clothing, thereby freeing up additional storage space.

Focus on reliable performance
When outdoor conditions get particularly demanding, you need to be able to rely on your gear. The Element Line focuses on practical features, comfort that eases the strain, and top-quality materials and components designed to function perfectly for years while protecting your equipment.
Responsibly and sustainably manufactured—developed for high standards and ambitious goals.

ReGen AX Carbon fabric
ReGen refers to a recycled yarn—"regenerated" entirely from plastic waste. Every kilogram saves up to 7 kilograms of CO2 compared to conventional manufacturing.
AX Carbon reinforces the entire fabric with the signature grid structure that defines our Element Line. High-strength, bundled fibers multiply the tear resistance, durability, and stability of the entire outer shell.
Beyond its environmental benefits, the material offers top-tier tensile strength, durability, and weather resistance, placing it at the forefront of outdoor textile technology.
Built for demanding outdoor use, this compagnon Element protects both your gear and the planet you wish to explore.
First the quality of this bag is on a different level from most other camera bags I have owned. It feels lighter than the specs suggest and while it looks like a medium sized bag it swallowed up my gfx kit and had room to shove an AD400 in before I even started playing with the roll top.
I am a very picky buyer and I have tried more than 20+ backpacks so far in the last 6 months. My search is over. I have finally found a bag that is designed really well and is made of top notch quality.
It is very well constructed backpack. I went on a 10 mile hike with it and absolutely loved the weight distribution.

New ProTec interior pads
More than inner beauty
A backpack should be comfortable and fit you well, but it also needs to accommodate your gear effectively.
Thanks to its Trekk IGU system, the new Element trekkpack can transform from a camera backpack into a spacious, practical travel and trekking pack—and vice versa—in mere seconds.
The new Trekk 75L IGU insert units allow you to make perfect use of the backpack's volume for your extensive gear. With the new ProTec padding, you have virtually endless options for transporting your equipment so that it is easily accessible yet optimally protected.
Manufactured using new techniques, the ProTec interior padding saves space and weight while remaining exceptionally robust; it features a soft velour surface and offers perfect stability, even for heavy gear.

4-way access: Never miss the shot
Gear access tailored to your style
When dealing with large amounts of gear, access and visibility are crucial—and preferences here usually depend on the specific loadout and personal habits.
The Element trekkpacks are perfectly designed for this: they offer front access, a massive rear opening, quick side access, and the option to reach your camera from the top.
Furthermore, the Trekk 75 XL and Trekk 75 L models feature quick-access points on both sides, allowing you to use side access regardless of whether you prefer the main opening to be at the front or the back. It doesn't get more customizable than that.

The dream team for (sometimes overly) ambitious plans
The Trekk75 IGU system
Tailored specifically for the Element trekkpack 75L, the XL and L-sized IGUs offer extensive options for adapting such a large backpack to your specific projects and plans.
With the Trekk 75 XL IGU, you certainly don’t have to compromise on your gear: mount a massive 600mm telephoto lens on your Canon R1 and pack it ready for action.
It would be absurd to speak of equipment limitations with the slightly more compact Trekk 75 L IGU; it accommodates not only a comprehensive gear setup but also essential outdoor supplies for your hike, trip, or overnight excursion.
The versatile TrekkSacc 15L fits neatly into the expandable top-loading section, providing organized storage for a change of clothes—even when the massive XL IGU is installed and fully loaded.

FAQ
Hier findest Du Antworten auf Fragen, die andere KundInnen auch hatten:
I'm significantly shorter than 1.70m, but I need a lot of space. Will the 50L Element trekkpack work for me?
The Element trekkpack 50L and 75L are, of course, very large backpacks that offer plenty of space for long hikes, photography trips, expeditions, safaris, and so on. The completely redesigned CarryLite ergo Max features a continuously adjustable size mechanism to ensure a perfect fit for people of all heights. The Element Trekkpack can therefore be easily adjusted to accommodate typical spine lengths for people who are approximately 1.60 m or taller. For people with particularly short or unusually long backs, the only way to be sure is to try it on.
I need the storage space and comfort that trekkpacks offer. Can I fly with a backpack like that?
Like all Element backpacks, trekkpacks also have a removable hip belt. So you can use it as needed or pack it separately in your backpack or suitcase when traveling by plane. The outer shell can also be compressed to save space when the IGU isn’t in the backpack. You can easily find out whether the backpack—even as you’ve packed it—is allowed in the cabin by checking your airline’s boarding conditions.
How do I adjust the backrest system to fit my height?
Step 1: First, release the Velcro fastener, which is hidden behind the top edge of the back padding. Reach with one hand between the aluminum struts behind the top edge of the back padding and release the Velcro fastener behind it. Now you can adjust the fit.
Step 2: Between the back padding and the hip belt, behind the padding of the CarryLite ergo Max system, there is a strap that runs lengthwise through the carrying system. At the top end, there is an adjuster to lengthen or shorten the carrying system. If it is not already at its maximum length, simply pull this adjuster slightly toward you at the bottom edge. You’ll feel a slight indentation for your finger in the adjuster. With a light pull, you can lengthen the strap. To shorten the back section, simply pull slightly on the upper of the two straps coming out of the adjuster.
Step 3: Before use, check that the Velcro fastener from Step 1 is securely fastened again and that your adjustment cannot slip.
How do I remove the ShiftPro hip belt?
You’ll find attachment straps on the left and right outer flaps of the hip belt. You can unthread these. Then reach your hand into the opening between the back system and the hip belt itself. There is an internal Velcro section here. You can release it with your fingers. Then you can easily pull the ShiftPro hip belt out to either side.
Since the trekkpacks are designed for heavy loads in rough terrain, we strongly recommend using them with the ShiftPro hip belt.
Can I swap the Trekk IGUs between models?
The Trekk 75 and Trekk 50 IGUs—the internal gear units—are specifically designed for their respective backpack models. As a result, Trekk 75 IGUs (L and XL) do not fit in the Element Trekkpack 50L. Conversely, while you can use the Trekk 50 IGU in an Element trekkpack 75L, doing so will result in a loss of storage space and stability. For this reason, the IGUs—which are always included in a complete set—are designed for the specific backpack model (50 or 75).
Is the CarryLite ergo Max the most comfortable carrying system by compagnon?
Every CarryLite system we develop is designed first and foremost for comfort and ergonomics. But every backpack or sling places different demands on the carrying system. That’s why the CarryLite ergo Max isn’t automatically the best or most comfortable option—but it does provide exceptional relief and groundbreaking comfort when carrying heavy loads. For a camera with 1–2 lenses and a change of clothes, for example, the CarryLite ergo V2 for the Element Backpack 30L or 20L is the more efficient and practical choice. If you need several heavy telephoto lenses—especially in the 300mm+ range—you’ll need the ergo Max.
