With the versatile VarioStrap 2.0, the Element sling 12L can be both, a sling backpack or an agile shoulder bag. Rotation joints, a completely redesigned shoulder pad and a new strap geometry mean you can carry this compagnon just as you prefer and achieve great comfort.
The Element sling 12L remains securely planted in place at all times, even on a bike or when walking fast. Even heavily loaded, it offers relief and ergonomics for your back.
The shoulder strap can be adjusted to suit you, your size and your desired position. With the new SlideAdjust, you can change the position of the sling 12L within seconds.
The revised padding with added 3D AirMesh EXPT for ventilation and temperature regulation lifts the carrying sensation to yet another level.

Compact camera bags are usually not equipped for demanding outdoor use. The materials and features are limited compared to high-performance backpacks. The Element sling 12L is different.

The outer shell, for example, is crafted from ReGen Carbon AX R, an amazing multi-layer fabric recycled from 100% plastic waste. Internally reinforced with bundled high tensile fibers, extremely robust and with a weather resistance that will even exceed premium tents.

Whether you are planning a short or long trip, tackling long distances downtown or through the undergrowth, the Element sling 12L offers the storage capacity of a compact backpack without being oversized and bulky. As a shoulder bag, it remains just as agile and handy.
The roll-top storage area provides an additional 6 liters of volume instantly available on demand. Two generous storage compartments for water bottle(s) and/or tripod(s) on both sides of the bag ensure flexibility. Inside, you and your gear are now greeted by a highly functional, thermoformed ProTec padding. With impeccable protection performance, it requires less internal space and is particularly convenient to adjust, stable, and durable.

Sollte der Gurt zu lang oder zu kurz sein und sich der Slide Adjust nicht an der korrekten Position für dich befinden, nutzte die Gurt-Garage am oberen Ende des Polsters um überschüssige Gurtlänge zu reduzieren oder mehr Länge hinzuzufügen.
An der Hüfte tragen wie eine klassische, traditionelle Schultertasche. Klappt selbstverständlich auch.
Nimm' hierfür einfach den Stabilizer Strap ab. Der Slide Adjust erlaubt dir die Veränderung der Gurtlänge mit nur einem Handgriff in Sekundenschnelle.

The Element Sling 12L features all the same ergonomic details and features as the Element Sling 7L 2.0.
Only the dimensions differ slightly. Therefore, you should be able to achieve the same comfort and an identically perfect fit for your body size.
How much storage space does the Element Sling 12L offer?
The main compartment offers approx. 12L volume for your gear. Additionally, you can separately use 6L of storage space in the roll-top according to your needs or combine it with an open partition to create one larger storage space.
How can I carry the Element Sling 12L?
The Sling 12L is equipped with the VarioStrap 2.0 and offers you the option to carry it as a sling backpack or a shoulder bag. Like a small backpack with one shoulder strap, it can be comfortably positioned diagonally on your back. It can even be complemented by a front fastening strap, which ensures a stable fit.
Special joints in the strap naturally also allow the Element Sling 7L 2.0 to be used exactly like a shoulder bag. For the variable strap design, a diagonal carrying style as a shoulder bag ("cross-body") is ideal.
The Element Sling 7L already received an update to model 2.0. Why is the Sling 12L not available as a 2.0 version?
The Element Sling 12L is a completely new model and a new size within the Element Line.
Launching after the Element Sling 7L 2.0, it already incorporates all the new features of the 2.0 generation and is also based on the latest materials and the newest, improved components.
Since the Element Sling 12L has no direct predecessor, the 2.0 update designation is therefore omitted.
